Safer Families Centre, The University of Melbourne
Safer Families Centre at The University of Melbourne has limited places available for practices in the Northern Queensland PHN region to take up their evidence-based domestic and family violence training program. The 'Pathways to Safety' training program strengthens the capacity of primary care providers to effectively recognise, respond and refer domestic and family violence. It is fully funded for general practices and community and Aboriginal health centres.
About the program:
- Delivered virtually in two 1.5-hour sessions (plus supporting activities) at a time that suits your staff
- All practice staff participate
- Skilled GP and local Family Violence Facilitators
- Uses trauma informed approaches
- Accredited by RACGP and ACRRM
- Developed by GPs for GPs.
All sessions must be booked in before the end of May 2024.
