The theme of the summit is Demonstrating Value and Utility of Allied Health Care. We have identified you or your organisation as a key stakeholder who may wish to join this event.

Allied Health is made up of over 40 different professions. Allied health professionals work in a variety of health care settings, often in multidisciplinary teams. They offer a depth and breadth of expertise to improve patient health outcomes and support efficient health systems.

New Zealand and Australian Chief Allied Health Profession Officers, Drs Martin Chadwick and Anne-marie Boxall warmly invite you to the Inaugural Australia and New Zealand Allied Health Summit.

This two-day event will bring together health professionals, professional bodies, researchers and policy makers to explore and understand the value and utility allied health provides to patients and the health system.

The Summit will be held virtually over two half days on the 25th and 26th of August. This year’s theme is demonstrating value and utility of allied health care.

There will be a series of quick-fire presentations showcasing research papers and case studies. Hear from our esteemed panellists on the key policy levers and how to implement changes to realise the true value of allied health. Attendees will leave with a better understanding of what is meant by value in health care and with practical and actionable policy tools to share with other healthcare leaders.
