Pioneer Medical Centre has been providing rooms for doctors to service the community in the Mackay area for close to 30 years. Located in the beautiful coastal city of Mackay, Pioneer Medical is in a desirable location, with plenty of parking and a purpose-built building. Close by are the public, private, and rehab hospitals and the Icon Cancer Centre.

Mackay, being surrounded by pristine beaches and beautiful green rainforests, is just on the doorstep of the prestigious Whitsundays. Mackay is a beautiful community that has plenty to offer, with access to public and large number of private schools, university, sporting activities. Various events are also held across the Mackay region throughout the year.

General Practitioners with no supervision requirements

• Room rent/service fees, weekly at 15 per cent, first month, moving to 25 per cent in the second month and then 35 per cent ongoing (conditions apply).
• Relocation grants are possible for the right candidate.
• Flexible room availability for consulting.
• Reserved undercover carpark available.
• Consulting rooms fitted with outside windows.
• Recommended to use AMA consulting fees.
• Open for extended or specialised skillsets.

  • 48 per cent female, 52 per cent male.
  • Average age of patients between 24 to 65 years, with all ages welcome.
• Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm.
• Saturday: 8.30am to 11.30am (rotating between doctors).
• Pathology on site.
