Emergency preparedness surveys for health care staff

Published 25 January 2022

The University of Sydney is carrying out national surveys to understand the emergency preparedness of individual health care frontline workers and volunteers, and social care organisations.

The national surveys will help them to understand:

  1. the level of frontline workers’ personal preparedness for emergencies such as pandemic, bushfire, flood etc
  2. the roles, capacity, and willingness of service providers in enabling their clients in emergency preparedness
  3. the tools and training needed to improve business continuity before, during, and after a disaster.

Your input would help the researchers to design an operational framework at the community level to facilitate that “no one ever gets left behind due to a lack of planning and preparation”.

If you are a frontline worker or volunteer, access the survey here. Learn more about the survey here.

If you are a Manager, Director or CEO of a health and social care organisations, access the survey here. Learn more about the survey here.
