Paediatric Palliative Care Service & the QuoCCA project
The Paediatric Palliative Care Service (PPCS) and the QuoCCA project are excited to present an engaging and interactive workshop for allied health professionals working with children and young people living with life-limiting conditions and their families. With over 400 conditions that can be classified as life-limiting, the health and social care needs of each child and their family are unique and complex.
The day will provide opportunity to explore what brings us to this work, hear the lived experience from families and young people who have had significant input from allied health professionals, while exploring the palliative approach to care.
The workshop will also provide helpful clinical resources, opportunity to network - learning with, from and about the contexts we work in.
Topics include:
- Showing up, leaning in & staying put
- A view from the lens of loss
- A parent’s story of allied health input
- The palliative approach to care and allied health
- The voice of young people
- New resources
