Build Back Better Program Webinar 1: Higher Performing Primary Healthcare (HPPHC)

Posted Thursday 28 November 2024 | Prestantia Health

Northern Queensland Primary Health Network (NQPHN) has partnered with Prestantia Health to deliver the Build Back Better Program: Capacity and Capability Building for General Practice and Aboriginal Medical Services (AMSs). NQPHN recognises there is a need to implement and adopt budget and reform initiatives, and to be proactive in planning for change. Being reform and change ready will equip general practices and AMSs with skills to handle the future of primary health care and learn from and contribute to the changing health care landscape.

The aim of the program is to ensure North Queensland (NQ) general practices and AMSs are appropriately prepared to execute future state primary care initiatives that builds sustainability and high-quality care provision to North Queensland across the geographical landscape.

We invite you to attend an introductory webinar which aims to provide an introduction to Higher Performing Primary Healthcare and reform readiness, provide an overview of the Build Back Better program and answer any queries you may have, and provide sign up details. This webinar will be delivered by Dr Paresh Dawda, Principal and Director of Prestantia Health and Next Practice Deakin and Dr Walid Jammal Principal and Director, Hills Family Practice, both of whom are international leaders in system transformation, value based primary care and person-centred care.
