Infection prevention and control refresher

Northern Queensland Primary Health Network and the Australian Primary Health Care Nurses Association invite general practice, pharmacy, allied health, and RACF staff to an infection prevention and control (IPC) education event. 

IPC guidelines support general practices and other office-based and community-based practices to implement procedures at a high standard. 

Join us to learn what IPC measures to consider as we move back into business as usual post-COVID. 

Session topics

• The intention of the IPC guidelines, including the change from standards to guidelines.
• The role of the guidelines in supporting practices to meet accreditation standards.
• Discuss each section of the IPC guidelines, outlining newly added information.
