Palliative care has two dynamics; science-based practice, and relationships between patient, family, and health professional. Each dynamic is essential for quality palliative care.
Northern Queensland Primary Health Network (NQPHN) invites you for a free education dinner to learn, network, and share experiences with your colleagues in the sector.
Register to reserve your place!
Keynote sessions include:
- Symptom management in the palliative care setting.
- Supporting advance care planning in terminal care practice.
- Afterhours specialist palliative care advice and palliative care resources.
- Defining palliative support services outside the hospital environment.
- Voluntary assisted dying and the work of Queensland Voluntary Assisted Dying (QVAD).
- Compassionate communities network and community palliative care at home on country.
