We are a well-established, family based General Medical Practice in Mackay, who are seeking applications for our RN/EN position.
Working together as a team to provide the highest quality of healthcare to our patients is of the utmost importance as is the patient-centered drive for preventative care through Chronic Disease Management and patient initiatives.

We are looking for a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse who not only has a patient and caring disposition but also the ability to perform well under pressure and work cohesively within a team environment.
They need to be highly motivated with a sound background in patient care and be able to adapt to an ever-changing environment and industry.
It would be good for the candidate to have experience in the General Practice setting and be proficient in:
- Chronic Disease Management and Care Plans
- Health Assessments
- Diagnostics - Audio, ECG, Spirometry and BP
- Childhood Immunisations
- Ear Irrigation
- Assisting minor procedures
- Wound care
- Travel Vaccinations
- Other duties and desirable proficiencies include, but are not limited to:
- experience with Medical Director, Pracsoft, and Hotdoc
- general computer use
The position available can be tailored for the right applicant as either Full time or Permanent part time however, the ability to cover occasional extra days when required for holiday and sick leave. Full-time employment is available for the right applicant.
Pay rate
The employment level and pay rate will be dependent on the successful applicants' qualifications, experience, and abilities. The starting rate will be reviewed on successful completion of the probation period and then followed up annually.
The pay cycles are done weekly.
