Retiring doctor – full or part time General Practitioner (GP) needed at private billing clinic, offering high income.

Pioneer Medical Centre is a local doctor/family-owned practice that has been established for more than 35 years. If you are seeking a work-family environment and a place you can enjoy coming to work, than this is the practice for you. Your fellow GPs and staff are highly professional, friendly, and organised. All consulting rooms have their own windows and doctors have an undercover carpark, with pathology on-site.

• Service fee – 35% of gross billings (conditions apply).
• Doctor in employment: Payment for ordinary hours for a doctor in employment will be the higher of a) or b) below:
  a) The base rate of pay for a full time doctor is $95,741.95 ($1,841.19/week), plus the statutory rate of superannuation as determined by the Commonwealth (currently 10.5%)
  b) 47% of in-hours receipts, plus the statutory rate of superannuation as determined by the Commonwealth (currently 10.5% - “the percentage”)
  You will be paid whichever is the greater.     
• Qualification – AHPRA, plus minimum three years’ medical work experience.
• We have only ever been a private billing clinic, with the exception of children 12 years and younger. 
• Our standard consult fee (item 23) is $95.00. 
• All invoicing is processed weekly, with staff paid weekly.
• Nursing support – full nurse support, three bed treatment room, plus Care Plan room, plus vaccination room.
• Admin – full time practice manager and reception team.
• Practice hours – Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm and Saturday (on a rotational roster) from 8:30am to 12pm.
