A General Practitioner is needed for a busy medical practice in the city of Townsville.

Health and Wellbeing is looking for a full or part time VR-General Practitioner to join the team. The practice in North Ward, is conveniently located in the city of Townsville, which ranks in the top 10 of liveable Australian Cities. We are a modern practice, conveniently located within walking distance to the Strand which allows for an excellent work and lifestyle balance. We have an experienced team with a great culture, the practice utilises allied health providers nearby, and have a dietician, life coach, and diabetes educator onsite, and our patients are a lovely mix of elderly and young families. 

Health and Wellbeing is a private billing practice and understands the needs of doctors. We believe in providing highly knowledgeable and efficient management, reception, and nursing teams to ensure that the doctor can work easily and more efficiently.

Are you a Registrar? We are accredited by RACGP.

Essential criteria

• VR-GP FRACGP/FACRRM or equivalent.
• General Registration or eligible for AHPRA Registration.
• Minimum 2 years medical experience.
• RACGP Registrar.
• Eligible for a provider number.

We have well known and local GPs on staff and long standing administrative and nursing staff. Our modern clinic is well appointed and accredited with AGPAL. The practice offers all aspects of general practice with a high focus on childhood and family health. We have special interests in DVA Chronic Conditions, and Mirena and Kyleena insertions. 

The successful candidate will be consistently booked from commencement.
