Proactive Physiotherapy Cairns' established private physiotherapy practice, located in the beautiful area of Whitfield/Edgehill, Cairns Queensland, is seeking a dedicated psychologist or clinical psychologist who shares our values of excellence, genuine compassion, kindness, and client-centered care. As a practice that has been in existence in Cairns for over 40 years, we have a database of over 10,000 clients to whom we can market your services to.

Job description

We are looking for a skilled, compassionate, and professional psychologist with proven therapy experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have an interest and expertise in working with individuals facing issues such as pain management, anxiety, stress, relationships, and general life challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality therapeutic services to clients.
• Maintain accurate clinical records.
• Fulfill administrative requirements, including reports and letters to doctors.
• Adhere to appropriate ethical guidelines.

Qualifications

• Full registration with AHPRA as a clinical or other psychologist.
• Experience and proficiency in providing therapy to adults and young people.
• A manner that is easy to connect with, instills trust, and projects warm professionalism.
