Caneland Medical Centre is looking for a Practice Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of the practice. The clinic has six doctors and is an AGPAL accredited clinic, and is fully computerised using Best Practice Software and Hotdoc online services.
Key elements of role include:
- office management
- billing and Medicare compliance
- polices and procedures
- staff organisation
- supply chain management
- complaints resolution
- reception duties, when required
- practice development.

- Communication - articulate, with excellent skills in negotiation and delegation.
- Leadership - leader by example, delegation of tasks, and creating a positive work environment.
- Initiative - ability to proactively work independently.
- Precision - careful attention to detail.
- Professionalism - punctual, well presented, confident, positive, courteous and has the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
Qualification and experience
- Ideal experience in practice management.
- Proficient in MBS.
- Medicare incentives (PIP, PNIP), and DVA.
- Workcover and private client billing.
- Sound knowledge in Best Practice Software.
