Once registered with PCA™, healthcare providers can update their business information and choose to automatically send updates to their connected business partners such as: Healthcare Directories (National Health Services Directory), booking and review services, Primary Health Networks, Professional bodies and associations, Public Health services, Local diagnostic services, Secure Messaging, Information exchanges. Accreditation services, Private health Insurance.
Provider Connect Australia (PCA™) is :

Once provider organisations update their details in PCA™, the update is then sent automatically to their nominated business partners. The data updated in PCA™ is validated against a range of trusted sources such as Medicare, AHPRA, HI Services, to reduce errors and maintain data quality for all participating business partners.
To date, more than 1,900 healthcare organisations across Australia are using PCA™ and a growing number of business partners are coming on board. The more business partners that come onboard, will ensure that PCA™ is a very valuable healthcare provider resource. Over time, business partners will include pathology and radiology services, public service directories, secure messaging providers, insurers and more.
