NQPHN on the road through the Cape

Published 08 August 2024

Our dedicated NQPHN team members Cara, Tynan, and Steve set off this week for an impactful journey through the Cape.

They’ve been busy connecting with stakeholders and service providers across Cooktown, Coen, Aurukun, and Weipa, discussing the Joint Regional Needs Assessment and Joint Regional Wellbeing Plan – two huge and important bodies of work for our region.

Even when the road is long, our work doesn’t stop! Just 30km outside Aurukun, the team made a quick stop to conduct a Medicare Mental Health Centre market briefing via Starlink satellite technology.
