About you
As a medical receptionist, you will be a highly valuable and essential member of our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the flow of patients into and out of the clinic. You will be the first point of contact and will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day running of the practice.
The successful candidate will possess high interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service, be passionate about the healthcare industry, and demonstrate an empathic approach to members of the community who are in pain or need.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- co-ordinating patient bookings
- communications (responding to phone calls and emails)
- handling billings
- re-stocking
- general office administration
- using your creativity and experience to create more efficient medical processes and procedures
- provide excellent service to patients on the phone and in-person
- provide support to the on-site practice manager, as required.
Desired skills and experience
- Knowledge of Best Practice is desirable.
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
